Another Canon MEGA Copier Dealer Bites The Dust

The Copier Industry was shocked on August 27th 2008 when Ricoh announced it would purchase Ikon for 1.6 billion dollars. Ikon was a Canon mega copier dealer with offices all over the US. This will affect Canon tremendously since Ikon was Canon's biggest dealer, Canon has already been hit since Xerox purchased Globel early this year another Canon mega dealer. It will very interesting to see how this this plays out when Ikon has to tell there customers that they can can no longer service or sell the Canon Brand that they have been selling and servicing for over a decade.
